Someone asked if the "Vancouver rarities" were still present and they were in the previously-described locations on Saturday, Feb 16 (good luck trying to photograph the Bluetail, it's an active bird in fairly dim light). Scott Ramos, Sarah Safranek and I saw it a few times over 3 hours between 7:30 - 10:30, roughly NW of the children's play area. Seemed best to sit still and wait for the bird to show up.

Snowy Owls are still out at Boundary Bay.
