I came across Andy Stepeniewski and Ken Lucas who were a part of a birding party, and they reported seeing a Snowy Owl on Scmuck Rd. on the evening of the 17th. Well, I waited at the site the next evening until dark with no results. Tonight though, sure enough, an adult Snowy was perched on a power pole there at 6:30 PM. Thanks for the good report! A Barn Owl even dive bombed the Snowy a few times for a size comparison.
