A pair of Pileated Woodpeckers were seen by the Wednesday bird walk group
this morning, 02/19/2013, at Dungeness Audubon Center & Railroad Bridge
Park. It was a new bird for Clallam County for me. Also seen by me after
the bird walk, in scouting for tomorrow's Clallam County Big Day attempt, I
found a White-throated Sparrow coming to the Smith's feeders at 551 Wilcox
Lane in Sequim. Birders are welcome to watch the feeders at this address
but be careful where you park and watch for traffic. Here's a photo of the
male PIWO.
