I was just working at my computer when I heard a
"thud" into one window near one feeder. I looked
out the window and saw upwards of 100 Pine Siskins
"everywhere" There were at least 6 on each
feeder, at least 25 at a water source and I
believe upwards of another 100+ in the trees
nearby. I have had as many as 25 before and have
had a couple thud into windows but this was
extraordinary. It also looks like they are coming
into more color - brighter yellow very apparent.
And now - five minutes later - all are gone.
