Hello,

I saw what looked like a brown pelican near Alki beach. I never saw its
head but I could not think of any other bird with similar body shape, size
and color.

It was sitting on one of the signs off the shore with a bunch of
cormorants. I was halfway between the Alki beach and the tip of the
peninsula (somewhere here http://binged.it/WZcpBq)

I managed to get a photo through the scope. Ebird tells me that it is a
rare bird for this time of the year. Can someone take a look and tell me if
I am right?
