A male Anna's on the feeder suction-cupped to the window above my head,
then a vigorous physical and vocal defense of his territory....my wake-up
call this morning at 0740. Skies headed toward blue, pink clouds (fog)
drifting in the rising sun...perfect count-week birding weather. Also found
a first-of-season Varied Thrush, right in my own yard a bit later...gets
added to our area 4 total, as a CW bird.
