Hello All,

The N. Waterthrush was once again present on 1/4/13, at the location
reported earlier (see below). I heard the bird several times, both chips
and songs, from 9 to 9:30 AM. Tough to get a look at, but my patience was
rewarded.

Wanted to report that the N. Waterthrush is still present at the same
location where I found it back in late November. It was calling loudly but
I could not get a look at the buggar. Ryan Merrill joined me a bit late and
we both obtained brief but satisfying views at about 1145am.

We also had 2 swamp sparrows calling from the marsh just a few hundred
meters south of the Waterthrush.

The Waterthrush is located just north of the intersection of 223rd avenue
and south prairie-carbon river rd. Between the two driveways of national
pallet services. Cheers Ryan Shaw Tacoma
