There was an interesting article in Thursday's (1/10)?Everett Herald about the closure of the city-owned?golf course at Lake Ballinger in Mountlake Terrace and?its planned conversion to a park.??? I don't know to what extent public follow-up is possible or necessary to the project, but it would be nice for the new park to include habitat for birds and other wildlife and a means for the public to enjoy it with minimal impact to?the environment.?
