According to a column in Thursday's (1-10) Everett Herald,?enough brant have been counted in Western Washington to allow a hunting season in Skagit County and on Willapa Bay, on?Jan. 12-13, 16, 19-20, 23, and 26-27.?? Anyone venturing out to those places?anticipating that water fowl hunting season would be closed by now should take note.
