I too have had a single Yellow-rumped Warbler (Audubon's) off and on for
about 3 weeks. It is most drawn to the cylindrical seed cakes sold at Wild
Birds (as are almost all the birds in the yard). Those folks on a Black
Hills Audubon field trip watched another single Yellow-rumped Warbler
foraging on the edge of Capitol Lake this morning.

An (Audubon's) Yellow-rumped Warbler just appeared at one of our suet
feeders. We have Townsend's every winter, but I have seen Yellow-rumped only
once before coming to our suet, 1-2 birds from January to March 2011. I
think Yellow-rumps move around during the winter, looking for feeding
opportunities. It must be cold out there!
