It suddenly and unexpectedly started snowing at our house about 12:30 p.m.
on Monday (snowing even harder at 2p.m.). As soon as the snow started, there
was a rather frantic uptick in activity at the seed and suet feeders. Two
CHESTNUT-BACKED CHICKADEES, a RED-BREASTED NUTHATCH and one BLACK-CAPPED
CHICKADEE were constantly jostling for position. Link to these beautiful
birds on my flickr photostream here: http://flic.kr/p/dLFLuG
