Around 11:20 AM we pulled up to Queens Park in New Westminister, BC, asked a couple leaving if we were in the right place. They said go through that arch and walk about 100 yards and look for the 40 or so birders. Someone later counted 60. We walked up to some that seemed to be looking at a tree bottom as one said ?he is in the bottom branches?. Pretty soon the Bluetail came down and perched on a limb about a foot or so off the ground then worked the area for about 4 minutes. I got some photos from a bit of a distance but ok. About as good as what has been posted online. Then he flew west and no one saw where he went and we all searched the next 1 & 1/2 hours without finding him. We left so I don?t know if he was seen again later.
