After reading Tom Mansfield's post this morning I decided to get
out and go after the GOLDEN EAGLE at Sikes Lake. When I arrived I
noticed three eagles perched in a bare tree in the middle of the field
near the lake. Both an adult and a juvenile BALD EAGLE and the GOLDEN
EAGLE affording nice looks in the sun. While I was there Bob (from
Woodinville) and Ann Marie Wood showed up and the three of us had
great views of the bird.
On my way back to Ballard I decided to check out the Carnation
Marsh just to see if anything was happening there. I had super looks
at a SWAMP SPARROW along side the roadway near the small bridge.

Cheers and Good Birding;
