Subject: [Tweeters] Carnation Golden Eagle

I went out to Carnation Farm Rd. yesterday, spent from around
1:00-4:30 there. Didn't see the Golden Eagle, but it was certainly
time well spent. The sun was shining through blue skies (in contrast
to heavy fog west of the valley). It was warmish and the light grew
lovely as the afternoon passed.

Species seen:

Bald Eagles (5-6), different ages
Juvie Red-tailed Hawk, nice close-ups on road to Meadow Lake Farm
Starlings
Crows
Song Sparrows
Spotted Towhees

In the River:
Golden Eyes
Cormorants (many)
PB Grebes
Mallards
American Coots (many)
Kingfisher
GB Heron
Buffleheads (I think)

Thanks to all who updated me on the GOEA. I'm inclined to go back for
another look.
