Subject: [Tweeters] Snowy Owls at Sandy Point

I was told yesterday that there are up to 8 Snowy Owls at Sandy Point, west and south of Ferndale; many of them are roosting on houses. I'm surprised this hasn't become a well-known site for them (it's where I saw my first one in November 1970). I can only add a request that anyone who goes there should remain respectful of the homeowners. Look, but don't trespass. On the Google map, it looks like it should be a great birding area.
