Greetings to all who have signed on for the big northern tour. Just wanted to touch base on a couple of things, since there seems to be conflicting info between the website and the newsletter.

*The trip will begin at 8 AM, give or take a minute or ten. We will meet/shmooz at the first shelter at Blaine's Marine Park until everyone arrives. I will be there early enough to be obvious.
*Talked to the folks at the Marina Cafe at Semiahmoo today and they will be open and hot soup, beverages, etc. will be available if you'd rather not dig into your lunch bag. This will be our planned lunch break prior to walking the tip of the spit.

It was beautiful up there today and let's hope for a repeat on Sunday. Either way, we'll see good birds and enjoy the day. Sunscreen is optional.
