Apologies for cross-postings
-----

The Winter Wings Festival in Klamath Falls, Oregon is now less than 3 weeks
away. Many of you are already registered and will be enjoying the birds of
the Klamath Basin during this wonderful event. If you have not made plans,
we'd love to have you join us. You can see the schedule of events and
register through the web site:

http://winterwingsfest.org/schedule/

Even with the festival's expansion to four days (Thursday thru Sunday),
most of the field trips are sold out. BUT, there are a few spots remaining
in some great trips on Thursday and Friday, including a special overnight
Owl Prowl, a behind the scenes tour of the lower Basin refuges, and a Big
Day trip (with a competitive spirit this year for listers).

Of course, you can also join us for presentations (including those by Kevin
Karlson and Alvaro Jaramillo), workshops, receptions, and meals, and get
out into the field on your own. A visitor's guide is posted on the web site
with everything you need to know:

http://winterwingsfest.org/guide/

We hope to see you in the Klamath Basin in February!
