Hi tweets!

Got out on Sunday to Banner Forest south of Port Orchard, and had a lot of passerines: Wilson's and black-throated Gray Warblers, Brown Creeper, Huttons Vireo, Pacific-slope Flycatchers, and a Western Tanager for my 100th county bird! :)

Even more fun was watching what I now believe was an ermine taking down a rabbit on the side of the road! I had not seen one before, and it was amazing to watch the little guy jump three feet in the air at one point, and eventually take an animal twice it's size as prey.
