hey everyone,

i'll bet you thought that fossils are either bones or impressions -- like
footprints or skin prints -- turned into stone. but there is another sort
of fossil and it is lurking inside your birds' DNA! these are fossils on
ancient viruses, most notably, hepatitis B virus, which is the number two
cause of cancer in humans. how did this virus get into bird DNA? read more
