Tweets, This morning I tracked Purple Martin calls to an apparent nest site
near Tenino High School. Location: Along Garfield St between the baseball
field and substation. One nest appeared to be on the E side of the tall
utility pole S of the red dugout. One or two additional pairs were
foraging/vocalizing in the vicinity. I first noticed these birds on June 30,
but they could have been around well before that date. Good birding!
