Hi Kimberly.

Looks like a Hairy to me! The bill is the right length relative to the head. Juvenile HAWOs have a more extensive (sometimes even orangish) crown than adults, so I suspect this individual is a Juvenile male whose red hair hasn't receded yet, if you will (like mine has). ?Third picture down in this webpage shows the more extensive red on a juvenile male...?
