Absolute bumper crop of juncos this summer in the Wedgwood neighborhood
of Seattle, too. I'm not aware that we've ever had any nesting right
here, just not quite the right kind of habitat. But I'm sure there were
this year, because we had clumsy fledglings that couldn't have been more
than a few hours out of the nest. Cool. And so surprising to hear that
little trill all summer long!
