Hi Tweets,

Barbara and I went to Wahkiakum County on July 23rd and located a family of
4 WESTERN BLUEBIRDS (code 4) at milepost 5 on Beaver Creek Rd. On the 22nd
we were in eastern Lewis County and had good birding at White Pass across
from the restaurant at the foot of the ski slope. Evening Grosbeak,
Chipping Sparrow, Cassin's Finch, Nashville, MacGillivray's, and
Orange-crowned Warblers, Golden-crowned Kinglet, Cedar Waxwing, Varied
Thrush, and assorted swallows. Just west of the pass FS road #1284 goes off
to the north toward Sand Lake. After 2 turns on this road we found a family
of Townsend's Warblers, Olive-sided Flycatcher, Williamson's Sapsucker, and
Chestnut-backed Chickadee.

Good birding!
