On July 28, Sunday, I could hear a RED-EYED VIREO singing away in the deep
forest in the back east portion of our place here in n. Lake Stevens. It was the
most interesting of 34 species found over the weekend here. The species
has been encountered a number of times here, but is still rare and always
a single bird.
