Hi Tweets:

I live in the Redmond Ridge area, east of Redmond, WA. I kept three
4-cup feeders going from January until now. During this time I had an
abundance of Rufous Hummingbirds beginning in March as well as Annas all year
long.. For whatever reason, they all seem to get along. In January, when the
temperature was in the 20s, I took a photo near dusk of 14 Anna's
Hummingbirds all on one feeder with 8 drinking holes. Beginning in March, I haven't
seen any evidence of one specie displacing another. The male Rufous
Hummingbirds left in July and because of having the exterior of my house painted,
I don't yet know if all the female Rufous Hummingbirds have left. As of
July 22nd I still had several, feeding along with the Anna's Hummingbirds.
