Amit: You can start by reporting what you saw to the Washington state Department of Fish and Wildlife (DFW).? Be sure to give an exact location so that DFW can follow up.?

Subject: [Tweeters] Hawk stuck in a net
On Wenas rd today we saw a dark Swainson's hawk sitting on a tree but its feet were caught in a net. It was trying to get out of it and constantly screaming.
It looked like the net was deliberately placed to trap birds. Isn't it illegal to trap hawks?? Can somebody tell me who I can report it to?
