Thanks to Ralph Meier's note and video (see below), about his success Sunday at still finding quite a few raptor young in nests, out flying the skies with each other and being fed, I, too had much success with seeing (and hearing) much of the same when I went to Yakima and Umtanum Canyons Monday.

It was a Big Deihl Day pour moi - hoping for a chance or 2 more in the next couple of weeks, to enjoy the pleasures of Central WA, before the heat sets in and all the raptors are scattered.
