Hi Tweeters -

Just sitting there reading Outdoor Photography (remembering my trip to Utah - still to post my bird list from that wonderful trip...stay tuned)...

But, I heard a "hammering" and thought it was a crew - well just out front on our huge Doug fir at the base was a male Pileated, chipping away. I was able to get very close (behind my gate) and he just kept on having breakfast. I only wish flickers were so camera willing.
