Bill and Tweeters,



Juvenile Brown-headed Cowbird, without a doubt! The generally pale colour,
extensive streaking, and short, conical bill are key field marks.



This would explain why the bird looked smaller than a Starling. Brewer's
Blackbirds are decidedly larger than Starlings.

The bird was again on the lawn completely ignoring all passerby's, no
starlings to be seen anywhere and with my trusty Iphone was able to get a
bit closer. Hopefully these will be closer to being diagnostic. I believe
it to be a Brewer's, what do you think!
