Hello, this is the Audubon Society of Portland Rare Bird report. This report
was made Thursday June 27. If you have anything to add call Harry Nehls at

On June 22 a singing INDIGO BUNTING was along Sawtell Road in northwest Polk
County. A male ROSE-BREASTED GROSBEAK was at a feeder near Eugene June 23.
During the week single GREAT-TAILED GRACKLES were at Greenville Park in
Banks, at Fernridge Reservoir, and in Oakridge.

On June 22 eight HEERMANN?S GULLS were at Depoe Bay. Four were at Lincoln
City June 25. A LEAST SANDSPIPER and a GREATER YELLOWLEGS were on the north
Spit of Coos Bay June 26. Two SANDHILL CRANES were near Langlois June 22. On
June 22 a NIGHTHAWK was over Vancouver. A BANK SWALLOW was at Meadowlark
Prairie in Eugene June 21. On June 22 an adult FRANKLIN?S GULL was at Fern
Ridge Reservoir. An adult PACIFIC GOLDEN-PLOVER was seen June 24 at Fern
Ridge.

The MOCKINGBIRD reported several weeks ago at Hampton Station along Hwy 20
was seen again June 22. On June 25 a singing CLAY-COLORED SPARROW was seen
June 25 near Enterprise along Golf Course Road. On June 22 a LESSER
YELLOWLEGS was at Hatfield Lake near Bend. On June 19 an ARCTIC TERN was
photographed at Malheur NWR. Another ARCTIC TERN was seen June 17 flying
along Deep Creek west of Adel.
