Got a great view of a Barred Owl in Fauntleroy Park this morning, about 9am. He just sat in the tree, as I quietly walked closer, taking photos as I went. The Owl was very interested in watching my dog, Lucy, who was milling about.There was also a Brown Creeper going up the tree, right by the Owl. It would go up and then (being a Brown Creeper) fly down and start back up again. The Owl seemed very interested in it also.The Owl was only about 15 feet up in the tree, in plain sight. What a thrill.Here are some photos I took with my phone camera, with the zoom all the way zoomed.
