Hello Tweeters,
My daughter, Sarah Waller, is a producer at KUOW in Seattle. She is doing a story about the bird collection at the Burke Museum. Part of the story will focus on how the museum acquires its birds. She would love to talk with someone who holds window-killed or otherwise dead birds in their freezer in preparation for donating them to the Burke's collection. Could this be you? Do you have a bird in your freezer now, ready to go to the Burke?
She will probably be taping this story the week of March 18. If you would be willing to talk to her about the bird in your freezer that are destined for the Burke, she would love to give you a call. You can contact her directly at swaller at kuow.org
Thanks in advance for helping tell stories of birds and the Burke on our local NPR station.
