Hey Tweets,

I wanted to report a sighting from last Tuesday (March 5, 2013) of a massive flock of 240 COMMON REDPOLLS up NF-19, off of HWY 410 (exact spot: 46.999661,-121.122533). My wife, Austin, and I were staying at the forest service cabin near there and were driving around exploring when the flock swooped down over the road in front of us. They were super active and vocal and a lot of fun to watch. I couldn't find any Hoary's in the 15 minutes of viewing. This area is right on the county line, but our sighting was on the east side of the river, so I am pretty sure it is a Kittitas sighting. I thought the size of this flock was noteworthy so I obtained some video that more or less confirms the flock size (if it needs confirmation).

Good Migrations!
