Hello Tweeters.
We have been hearing what I presume to be a pair of W Screech Owls calling in our back yard last night and tonight. The last time we heard them was Dec. 29 the morning I got up to do the Seattle CBC. We used to hear them regularly before they cut down the 12 acre green belt across the street and put in 29 houses. Progress marches on. I have two owl boxes up in the yard. Maybe this will be the year. It is nice to know they have not totally disappeared from the metro area.
Any owl sound is a magical sound. Gotta love it.
