Sunday's Everett Herald had an article on the George C. Reifel Migratory Bird Sanctuary near Ladner, BC.

For those of us who reside south of the border:? I have been told by others that if you are asked about your visit to Canada by the Canadian border guards at the border crossing, don't mention the word "Reifel."?? They hear "rifle" and jump to the conclusion that you are bringing a weapon into Canada. Just tell them that you are coming to Canada to photograph birds.
