Thanks to those who had previously spotted the Say's Phoebe at
Kent Ponds, we were able to find it easily about 150 yards west of the south
tower in some small trees and bushes on the north side of the fence on
Monday afternoon. It was definitely acting like a flycatcher and posed
nicely for some good views. Another unusual bird for the Kent Ponds was a
Western Meadowlark, which was in the large open field southeast of the south
tower on the south side of the paved path.
