Hi, Tweets
Our rufous hummingbird hasn't been back yet, that we've noticed, but hope he will return soon. We are wondering if our Anna's have young now but haven't actually seen them - the feeders are going down more quickly, however. The varied thrushes are really singing up a storm - pays to live in the woods, I guess.
To the person looking for blue-winged teal, there were three sets of male/females swimming in the second pond to the north at Brightwater this past few days. I've been keeping a list for Brightwater, but the birds haven't really been inundating the area as neat as it seems to me. No turkey vultures flying over . . .
Cheers, Diann
