The Larsen Lake Common Redpolls were maybe around all day today. I swung
by "The Club / Teen Center" (15228 Lake Hills Blvd) for a quick look
enroute to the post office, and instantly spotted 15-20 birds scattered in the
tops of the 11-tree birch cluster 50 feet west of the northside parking lot,
1645-1700hrs. They were very quiet, not feeding, scarcely moving at all,
just resting or sleeping off the day's feeding haul.
