Greetings Tweeters,

As Bill Anderson reported this morning, several of the Great Blue Herons at
the Edmonds Marsh are now nesting in a new more secluded area near the
Willow Creek Hatchery, where hopefully they will be protected from the Bald
Eagles in the area. I happened to be taking some photos of other birds last
week along the creek in this area, and came upon one of the new nests.

I have posted a photo of a heron in the nest and another of a heron that
landed in the creek very close to me at:
