This morning my grandsons and I spent time walking the beach below the
sewage ponds on the northeast side south of the lighthouse where I saw
about 15 WHIMBREL working the beach at low tide. Orange-crown
Warblers singing, Wilson Warbler singing, a Western Tanager, and one other
singing song that I couldn't recognize or remember.
