Playing around with our trail camera, I decided to see who visits the back
porch before I get out there to refresh the bird bath each day. I was
surprised to capture an image of this BAND-TAILED PIGEON
http://flic.kr/p/egKi9p on May 2. The image quality leaves a lot to be
desired, but I think it shows enough to identify the bird. Life bird for me.



This morning, Sunday, May 5, a EURASIAN COLLARED-DOVE was singing at dawn on
our property.
