This coming weekend, May 10th - 11th, Pilchuck Audubon is sponsoring three
events. On Friday night at 6 pm, there will be an informational session
on using internet and smart phone technology when birding. At 7 pm, our
monthly program will feature Connie Sidles, local author and birding expert
on Seattle's Montlake Fill. Both of these events will be at the Everett
Firefighters Hall, 2411 Hewitt Ave, Everett. Saturday is International
Migratory Bird Day. We are sponsoring an all day field trip, three short,
local morning bird walks, a mid-day backyard birding class, and a Vaux
Swift watch in the evening. Details on these activities can be found on
our website www.pilchuckaudubon.org. The events are free and geared for
beginning birdwatchers.
