For some reason I haven?t felt like going anyplace this spring, so far, and have really enjoyed the nice weather here at home. The migration in and out of the yard has certainly been different this year. I had a Varied Thrush until the 26th of April. The White-crowned Sparrows arrived a month early, around the 1st of April, and some Golden-crowned Sparrows are still here ten days after there usual disappearance.

Over the last month I have had several photo sessions, just me and the birds, in the yard. A few of the photos are exceptionally good compared to previous yard bird pictures I have taken. The one of the Junco on April 26th I am particularly proud of.

I have posted the photos in folders according to date and camera/lens used. It is interesting how good the SX 50 does considering the difference in price to everything else.
