Subject: [Tweeters] Vesper Sparrow at Glacial Heritage

I was walking the Glacial Heritage Preserve at today's always wonderful
Prairie Appreciation Day and had good views of a vesper sparrow in a
douglas fir at the prairie's north end. Interpretive post #18 for those
others who were there.

It's very sad that this absolutely spectacular site is only open to the
public but one day of the year. Even if it were available once a month for
the public to experience I think that enthusiasm for this land and
understanding of this highly endangered ecosystem would be greater.
