Hello all,
Birded Biscuit Ridge out of Dixie east of Walla Walla very early this morning - and found a Veery right near the end of the pavement. Just checked records thru last 8 years and it may be our earliest ever by 3 days - average arrival being May 26.
46 and breezy up there this am - but many birds singing. Lazuli Buntings, Black-headed Grosbeaks, Yellow, MacGillivray's, Nashville and Yrump Warblers, Yellow-breasted Chat, Fox Sparrows, Spotted Towhees and Warbling Vireos all along the road.
Later, MerryLynn
