On Sunday morning at 4:50 a.m. the Karismatic Kestrels saw a Common Nighthawk at the entrance to the East Meadow at Marymoor Park to begin their Birdathon Big Day for Eastside Audubon. Also seen at Marymoor was a MacGillivray's Warbler along the Sammamish Slough at the southernmost opening. A Bonaparte's Gull was seen at Lake Sammamish State Park. The team finished its dawn-to-dusk day with 110 species with close to $3,000 raised for the chapter. Thanks to all who participated and donated to support the effort.
