Early Tuesday morning, while I sipped my Fair Trade Joe, I watched the
private lives of my yard birds: first, copulating Western Tanagers, using a
platform of a yard chair, followed by Dark Eyed Juncos, using the deck,
followed by Ring-necked Pheasants using the lawn. I live on a half-acre 200
meters from the Winslow Ferry Dock on Bainbridge Island. Oh my oh my!
