This afternoon there was a Lark Sparrow and at least one Clay-colored
Sparrow in Diablo. The Clay-colored was with many other migrants up
in the oak that is directly between the helicopter landing pad and the
rail tracks on the hill. The Lark Sparrow was on the lawn and inside
the fence just as you drive into the far half of town. While
photographing the Lark Sparrow a Clay-colored Sparrow flew in from the
hillside and landed up in a nearby tree - not sure if there was more
than one there but it seemed like it.

On the way back home I decided to check out the Samish Flats where
there was a really late Rough-legged Hawk at the West 90. Fortunately
this also caused me to miss being on I-5 in Mount Vernon when the
bridge collapsed.

Good birding,
