Today Karen and I saw an unbelievably good art exhibit of cut paper at the Nordic Museum in Ballard several works of which involved birds.

We then went to the Montlake Fill where we saw a female Yellow-headed Blackbird and a Western Meadowlark.? Here is a photo of the latter.

The Western Meadowlark was moving around?a meadow (Hunn Meadow West)?southwest of the main pond near the lupine.
