Today there were 3 Black Terns along the Kiwa Trail at the south end of West
Lake.

Subject: [Tweeters] Black Tern at Ridgefield NWR



A Black Tern was seen this morning over Canvasback Lake (just across from
the Kiwa Trail entrance) at Ridgefield NWR. I was with a group of teenagers
helping them get their birding requirement for Biology Class when we saw it.
Needless to say it was exciting to see this rare bird on a rainy,
not-very-many bird day.
